Small entrepreneurship in Indonesia is a main pillar of national economic affair. It had been written in National Constitution 1945 (fourth amendment). This legalization has been used to give concern and protection in order to drive small entrepreneurship. Is solidity could be seen since 1998 when Indonesia plugs into monetary and economic crisis. Middle and big entrepreneruships faced the significant problem for expensing operational production, while small entrepreneuship remained establish as formal and non formal organization that function as national economic backbone.
Nevertheless, it is the fact that although small entrepreneuship had been received many facilities for supporting its development but it has many sumbling blocks to increase its outcome and organization performance. Such condition becomes my concern here to observe the development of small entrepreneurship mainly in context of Ambon, a capital city Maluku province eastern Indonesia. Since social conflict erupted in Maluku province on 1999, specifically in Ambon city, there emerged informal merchants or sellers on the street (pedagang kaki lima) in some local places or alternative markets. It could not be ignore that they have been meet the social needs of Ambon inhabitants.
This observation use Gibson, Ivancevic and Donelly theory of organizations behavior as the framework to found and to test the existence of informal merchants, whics is necessary to take decision for developing, motivation and social circumstance. This observation expected can hel the entrepreneursh and others to open a wide perspective and develop their bussines
