ABSTRACT:

This article more amount conversing about traditional fisherman life of Bajo (group of fisherman of migran of South Sulawesi) in countrified of Sand Foreland, Island Rote. Article is writer try to open the discourse of development studies in Indonesia by presenting result of research in the form of social activity of traditional fisherman economics of Bajo in Sand Foreland, Island Rote.
Data collecting detail as possible, so that enable of interpretation return for data by using different paradigm in the future.
This research not yet too old (April 2006, July-August 2006 and September-October 2006), so that data presented we can say still be "warm". But, in context of research of social science in Indonesia, writer realize that whereabout people still very often question nowadays data, in consequence data presented in this article is data pledged from side of research methodologies.
